September UFO Complete

My September UFO was actually complete before September started so that was an easy one for me.
This is a Halloween wall hanging I bought as a kit some time ago. I only had to add the borders and binding, but I thought it was pretty cute. It’s completely finished now with banding and hanging sleeve.

October’s number is 6, which for me is a finishing a quilt that I started last year in Shipshewana. I just need a thing border and then I can sandwich and quilt it. This will be a busy month of traveling for me. Back to Shipshewana for our third retreat 🙂 and then on vacation for ten days. So I hope I can at least make some progress on number 6. Here it is so far.

Check Judy’s Blog to see what everyone else has finished this month.

  1. Love the Halloween wallhanging! I bought several squares of those wonderful prints at my local quilt shop several years ago and made small decorations just with a backing, minor quilting and a ribbon hanger (the pumpkin holding the treats bag is sitting right here on my desk!). Wish there had been many more of those squares! And your October project looks well along in its journey to quilthood too. Good luck on yet another completion!

  2. I love the Halloween wall hanging! Great job and congratulations on getting your UFO done! Isn’t it a great feeling! I love this challange.
Your October UFO is just lovely! Have a great time at your retreats and on vacation.
