Quick Strippie pattern from Mary Quilts web site. This was an easy one to use up stash. It will be a donation quilt. The backing is actually from a twin sheet. 44″ x 55″
These blocks were made as part of a Saturday Sampler held at New Pieces Quilt Shop in Albany, CA back in 2006. Top was completed in 2015 at our small retreat in Danville, IL. Backing is a wide piece purchased at Yoder’s in Shipshewana, IN. Baptist Fan quilting by Maureen Tinley. Last stitch in the binding 10/29/2018. 59″ x 72.5″
Several of us bought this as a kit at Lolly’s in Shipshewana, IN at the first retreat in October 2010. Pattern is French Braid from Jelly Roll Quilts by Pam and Nicky Lintott. Quilting by Jennifer Newberg. 57.5″ x 63.5″
Another little table topper finished. This one made from a Moda Sunnyside mini charm pack. 20.5″ square.
This is the first Keyhole quilt top I put together at the Fall Shipshewana Retreat in 2011. Made with a Bali Pop in Pomegranate. 54″ square. I like this one the best of the three I’ve made.
Finished this little Flower Basket quilt from Kindred Spirits. Part of the Kindred Spirits Club I joined a couple years ago at Threads in Time Quilt Shop in Danville, IL. Flowers machine appliqued. 12.25″ x 13.75″
Finished my long table runner made with 2.5″ strips I cut from a Connecting Threads Hanami FQ pack. Measures 85″ by 16″.
I wanted it to fall over each end of my dining room table. The inner border is 1″ strips cut from one of the fabrics. The outer border and binding are from some navy yardage I had in my stash. It’s backed with 7 FQ leftover fabrics. I may have big enough pieces left to make some matching napkins. Turned out exactly how I had it pictured.
Table topper made from some leftover Riviera jelly roll strips and some yardage. I finished sewing down the binding last night. Perhaps I’ll make some napkins to match. 20.5″ square
Northern Lights wall hanging finished at last. This kit was purchased at the quilt shop in Juneau in June 2013 on my cruise to Alaska with my grandson. The top was finished right away but it’s taken me all this time to get up the courage to quilt the lights. I used nylon invisible thread and it worked wonderfully. So glad it’s done. 34″ x 25″
This shows the quilting better.
