Sunnyside Table Topper

A Quilter's Journey
Another little table topper finished. This one made from a Moda Sunnyside mini charm pack. 20.5″ square.
Table topper made from some leftover Riviera jelly roll strips and some yardage. I finished sewing down the binding last night. Perhaps I’ll make some napkins to match. 20.5″ square
Northern Lights wall hanging finished at last. This kit was purchased at the quilt shop in Juneau in June 2013 on my cruise to Alaska with my grandson. The top was finished right away but it’s taken me all this time to get up the courage to quilt the lights. I used nylon invisible thread and it worked wonderfully. So glad it’s done. 34″ x 25″
This shows the quilting better.
Used a Fat Quarter pack from Connecting Threads to put this long table runner together. 84″ long.
Lori at Humble Quilts has been hosting a QAL the last few Mondays. Good use of those medium value fabrics that are so often passed over in my Quilts. 21” square finished. Not sure if I’ll add a border. Barely made a dent in my 2″ squares.
This is a small Pandora’s Box, pattern by Kim Brackett, in Riviera fabrics from Connecting Threads. 42.5″ square.
Stitched this one up from some pumpkin blocks I made several years ago from a kit. Just added 1″ sashing and borders. 25″ square. And, I still have 8 more blocks to do something with.
My take on several bear paw patterns I’ve seen. Wanted to use up a Bittersweet (by Nancy Halvorsen for Benartex) charm pack that’s been in my stash for too long. This is 22 1/2″ square.
This is a table runner kit, Rainforest Rings by Lisa Moore, that I bought in Alaska in June 2013. I finally had the courage to do the applique. But I didn’t want a table runner so instead of a 5 ring rectangle, it’s a 4 ring 26″ square table topper. And, I changed the reddish purple outer border to a nice deep blue. It’s prettier in person than in the pic.
Copied another idea from Pinterest. This time using some of the original Riviera from Connecting Threads that has been maturing in my stash for years. Time to use it up. Still have lots to use though. I’ll use the orange and yellow strip for binding. 20″ square.
