I’m signed up to participate in Jo’s of Jo’s Country Junction, Crumb Along which started this past week. So here we go.
This weeks assignment is to make wonky flying geese blocks. So, rulers and precision cutting aside, here is my first effort. Two crumb blocks with flying geese as the center.
I’m using purple as my accent color and I cut up a half yard piece that has been in with my fat quarters forever. I don’t have many solids in my scrap bins so this is the way I will start.
If you want to see how everyone else did, click here and look at the links at the bottom of the post.
I love your purples! Great blocks!

I love your purple, I think the key to a good crumb is to have a favorite color accent. cw

Superb start on your crumb blocks. I like the idea of using up fabric that’s been in the stash forever.

Great blocks and good for you in using what’s on hand. I don’t have a lot of solids – but I use Kona Black a lot! So that was my go to solid already in my scrap bin.
