Okay, so this is going way back, but comments for this blog post had been closed. I am still working on Celtic Solstice and came across your easy strip pieced chevron units. What a brilliant idea.. I was wanting to do several of Bonnie’s newer quilts in her newest book but they all call for those pesky chevron units which I detest. I wondered how did you arrive at the strip width necessary for these units used in Celtic Solstice, which were 2 x 3/12″….. as the ones in the newer patterns are 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ (unfinished) and I am not sure how to recalculate the strip size… Thank you in advance.
